Job Description

The Lockheed Martin Government Affairs enterprise is integral to shaping the strategy, mission, and ecosystem to advance Army aviation as part of the corporation’s 21st Century Security (21CS) and 5G.mil growth initiatives. This position will work at the corporate level looking across all four business areas to integrate the corporation’s Army Aviation efforts into the broader Lockheed 21CS value proposition.

The ideal candidate has experience and knowledge in Army aviation operations, military CONOPS, battlefield command and control systems, and an understanding of Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) concepts.

The candidate should be able to envision how Army Aviation platforms, sensors, UAS, and ALE operating within the lower tier air domain (LTAD) will integrate into the JADC2 mesh network ecosystem, Joint Kill Webs, and larger JADO fight.

Critical is the ability to understand the Lockheed Martin 21CS technologies and concepts, assist BA/LOB integrate with Army aviation platforms and ecosystem, and shape strategies to win Army aviation JADC2 opportunities.

Candidates must also understand the DoD program requirements, PPBES processes, and be comfortable interacting with corporate, DoD, Army leaders and subject matter experts.

Experience in senior military Service organizations such as Joint Staff, Army Staff and ASAALT, AFC. Highly desired is experience with Network CFT, PEO C3T, FVL CFT, C5ISR. This position is a direct report to the LMGA Army Aviation Pillar Lead.

– LMGA lead to coordinate across multiple BAs to integrate 21CS and CJADC2 lines of effort and missions into Army Aviation and other platforms and programs
– Participate in cross BA Low Tier Air Domain IPTs
– Coordinate with LM OA team for strategy and development of LTAD, CJADC2, 5G, data link solutions, and 21CS
– LMGA lead to coordinate across BAs for AVN relevant LTAD/CJADC2/21CS demonstrations during EDGE and Project Convergence
– Lead efforts for LTAD, CJADC2 Aviation centric demonstrations during trade shows and customer engagements
– Coordinate efforts for Rotary Wing Innovation Center (RWIC) CJADC2 integration and connectivity to LM JADO and other demonstration centers
– Support LMGA AVN VP in FVL capture efforts and integration of LTAD/CJADC2/21CS
– LMGA lead to support cross BA ALE strategy/IPT and integration into FARA Ecosystem/LTAD/CJADC2/21CS
– Continue to explore the environment for business and strategic growth opportunities
– Foster and grow network with key Army, Army Aviation, CJADC2 stakeholders, and industry partners
– Participate in cross BA Strategy development for 21CS/LTAD/CJADC2
– Participate or lead as necessary internal color team capture efforts for AVN CJADC2/21CS
– Provide AVN and CJADC2 integration SME to internal senior personnel (VPs and Directors)
US Citizenship required

Basic Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree and 10-year relevant experience
– Professional verbal and writing presentation skills
– Maintain or eligible for U.S. DoD Secret security clearance
– DoD acquisition requirement development experience
-Significant experience and knowledge in Army aviation operations, military CONOPS, battlefield command and control systems, and an understanding of Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) concepts
– Understanding of Aviation platforms, sensors and communication nodes

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
