To strengthen our USA Business Development team, we are currently looking for an experienced RFID Business Development Manager.

Job description

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop new RFID business in the USA
  • Support the sales team in ensuring project execution with the current customers
  • Identify new use cases and applications for the EM products, formulate and execute effective sales/marketing plans to convert them into revenue
  • Drive EM presence in the RFID business eco-system, including industry groups, standardization bodies, tradeshows and other relevant events or organizations
  • Engage with eco-system partners at technical and commercial level to bring to the market complete solutions built around EM chips
  • Develop strategic account plans to grow the business with existing customers and increase market shares for EM products, positioning the EM products for sustainable growth
  • Directly engage with end customers to identify new projects and position EM technology
  • Analyze the market and competitive landscape and feedback technical requirements for BU product development
  • Drive the negotiations and execution of development contracts with the different internal and external stakeholders
  • Orchestrate executive-level interaction between customers or partners and EM


  • Excellent market knowledge
  • Solid technical understanding of RFID
  • Strong network in the industry
  • “Hunter” attitude with proven closing skills
  • High sense of ownership and follow-through for all the business tasks
  • Good analytical skills and deep understanding of the industry and RFID eco-system interaction model
  • Adaptable to different industry verticals
  • Independent and self-starter with ability to communicate with people at all levels
  • Strong work ethics and good organization management skills to leverage and motivate eco-system partners

Professional requirements

  • EE background
  • At least 10 years of experience in a similar role in the RFID market
  • Proven track record of successful business closures
  • Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
  • Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients
  • A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Goal-oriented and commission-driven. Professionals who have drive and motivation will push themselves to succeed


  • Fluent in oral/written English language is a must
